Welcome to The Hall & Woodhaus Alpine Bar at the Olive Branch
Can’t make it to the slopes this winter? Don’t panic! The Hall & Woodhaus Alpine Bar is here to make up for any après ski missing from your life. Delicious drinks, warming food, twinkly lights and many, many real fir trees brings the magic of The Alps right to Wimborne instead.
Gather your friends and get ready to clink those steins of beer. The Alpine Bar is open from Friday 17th November to 31st December and takes place in a heated marquee, but if you want to be extra snug, feel free to BYO blanket (note: we’ve heard it also makes for an extremely good selfie).

Where is the Hall & Woodhaus Bar?
We’re in the garden at the pub in a covered, heated marquee.
What is there to eat and drink?
Our standard food menu is available in the Alpine Bar, along with a streamlined choice of drinks. You can of course take drinks from the pub into the Alpine Bar.
What should I wear?
We have heaters but on those extra cold days you may need extra layers! Feel free to also BYO blanket if you want to be extra cosy.
Is there a fee to attend?
No, your presence at our Alpine Bar is payment enough.
Do you take cash/card?
Please note we’re a cashless venue, and this also applies to The Alpine Bar.
How many people can I bring?
Online table bookings for up to 12 are welcomed. If your party is larger than this, please call us at the pub to discuss what we can do for you.
